Connect Google Ads

Connect your Google Ads account

Connecting Google Ads lets Adros read your account's performance and — only after your explicit approval — deploy campaigns to it.

Before you start

  • You need a Google Ads account and a Google login with access to it.
  • Pop-ups must be allowed for app.adros.ai — the connection opens in a secure Google sign-in popup.

Connect in three steps

  1. In the dashboard sidebar, open Connections (or use the Connect Google Ads button during onboarding / on the Get Started checklist).
  2. On the Google Ads card, click Connect. A secure Google sign-in popup opens — choose the Google account that has access to your Google Ads account and grant the requested access.
  3. Back in Adros, the Google Ads card shows Connected. Then assign the connected account to the right brand on the same page.

If you sign in with a login that can access multiple Google Ads accounts (for example through a manager account), make sure the right account ends up assigned to the right brand under Brands.

What access you're granting

  • Reading: campaigns, keywords, and performance metrics — used for research, planning, and reporting.
  • Managing ads on your behalf: Adros stages campaign changes and applies them only when you approve a deployment. Connecting by itself changes nothing in your account.
  • Billing stays with Google. Your ad spend is billed by Google to the payment method in your Google Ads account, exactly as before. Adros never charges your ad account.

Reconnecting and disconnecting

  • Reconnect: if access expires or you change your Google password, the Connections page flags it — click Reconnect and sign in again.
  • Disconnect: click Disconnect on the Google Ads card and confirm. Adros immediately loses access. Campaigns already live in your account keep running — they belong to you, not to Adros.

Troubleshooting

  • The popup doesn't open — allow pop-ups for app.adros.ai and retry.
  • "Please log in first" — your dashboard session expired; sign in to Adros again, then retry.
  • Connected the wrong Google account — disconnect, then reconnect and pick the correct Google login in the popup.
  • Your account isn't listed — verify your Google login actually has access to the Google Ads account (check Access & security inside Google Ads).
