Connect your Meta ad account
Connecting Meta lets Adros read your ad performance and — only after your explicit approval — deploy campaigns to your Meta ad account (Facebook and Instagram).
Before you start
- You need a Meta ad account and a login with permission to manage it (admin or advertiser access in Meta Business settings).
- Pop-ups must be allowed for
app.adros.ai— the connection opens in a secure popup window.
Connect in three steps
- In the dashboard sidebar, open Connections (or use the Connect Meta Ads button during onboarding / on the Get Started checklist).
- On the Meta Ads card, click Connect. A secure Meta login popup opens — sign in with the profile that has access to your ad account and grant the requested access.
- Back in Adros, the Meta Ads card shows Connected. Then assign the connected ad account to the right brand on the same page, so Adros knows which business it belongs to.
If you manage several businesses, you can connect once and assign different ad accounts to different brands under Brands.
What access you're granting
- Reading: campaign structure, performance metrics, and account assets — used for research, planning, and reporting.
- Managing ads on your behalf: Adros stages campaign changes and applies them only when you approve a deployment. Connecting your account does not change anything in it by itself.
- Billing stays with Meta. Your ad spend is billed by Meta to the payment method in your Meta ad account, exactly as before. Adros never charges your ad account.
Reconnecting and disconnecting
- Reconnect: if Meta access expires or you change your Meta password, the Connections page shows the connection needs attention — click Reconnect and sign in again.
- Disconnect: click Disconnect on the Meta Ads card (you'll be asked to confirm). Adros immediately loses access. Campaigns already running in your Meta account are unaffected — they're yours and keep running under Meta's own settings.
Troubleshooting
- The popup doesn't open — allow pop-ups for
app.adros.aiand try again. - "Please log in first" — your dashboard session expired; sign in to Adros again, then retry.
- Wrong account connected — disconnect, then reconnect using the Meta profile that owns the correct ad account.
- You don't see your ad account — confirm your Meta profile has admin/advertiser access to that ad account in Meta Business settings.
